The one-year Digital Filmmaking Program gives students the all-around filmmaking experience necessary to make their own films. Divided into two semesters with one to two weeks of vacation, depending on the start date, students receive over 600 hours of hands-on instruction and actual production experience. The curriculum integrates intensive study in all the major filmmaking disciplines including screenwriting, directing, cinematography, audiography and editing. In the 2nd semester, students can choose to specialize in one of the aspects of filmmaking.

The Online Entrance Examination for 2024 DFM Courses:
All applicants will be required to undergo the online examination which will be followed by a personal interview on campus. The dates for the online examination and interview will be communicated in advance to all candidates.
12th Pass or Equivalent may apply (including those awaiting their final year results). International students may apply complying with the relevant/ equivalent requirements mentioned above. Where applicable, candidates must complete all arrears before joining LVPCMS.
Once selected, the student receiving the admission letter to confirm his/her admission. 1st Semester Fee will be communicated to the student in the admission letter. No Refund for any course registered at LVPCMS.
Payment has to be done through a demand draft drawn in favor of ‘L V Prasad College of Media Studies’, payable at Chennai or through Bank Transfer. Cash payment will not be accepted.
