Graduated from FTII and since then have been working in the Film, Advertising, and TV Industry as a DOP as well as Producer/Director. Films he has shot have been nominated for and won awards at prestigious Film festivals across the world. ‘RUDAALI’, ‘HIMALYA PUTRA’, ‘AAR YA PAAR’, ‘THE PERFECT HUSBAND’, ‘TINGYA’, ‘ROAD TO SANGAM’ ‘SEHAR’. Dharam has shot many ad films too.

Adarsh H Eshwarappa is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and actor who is best known for his work in the Kannada film industry. An alumnus of the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, he first made his mark through short films like ‘The Reality’ and ‘Marethenendukondeya’. His notable feature film credits include ‘B.E. Mech’, and Shuddhi. Besides acting, screenwriting, and direction, Adarsh Eshwarappa has also taken on the role of an editor in some of his films.

Roopa Rao is an independent Indian filmmaker from Bengaluru. She is the writer and director of India’s first same-sex love story web series ‘The Other Love Story’. Roopa Rao is also known for directing the critically acclaimed award-winning Kannada film ‘Gantumoote’.

Roopa Rao won the “Best Director” award at NYC Web Fest 2016 and the “Best Story” award at TO Web Fest 2017. The Other Love Story has a total of 3 wins and 7 nominations from various National and International Film Festivals.

After The Other Love Story, Roopa Rao wrote and directed ‘BFF (Breath Friend Forever)’, a short film. The film was an official selection at Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and got screened at Ireland National Film Body in the Kids Section.

In 2019, Rao’s first feature film, ‘Gantumoote was up for a world premiere at New York Indian Film Festival (NYIFF) where it won the “Best Screenplay” award.

Arvind Sastry is the youngest filmmaker to have received the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Original Screenplay, which he won for his debut film, KAHI (2016). The film was also screened at the 9th Bengaluru International Film Festival. It was one of the first Kannada films to stream on Netflix. His second film, ALIDU ULIDAVARU (2019), went on to complete 100 days of the theatrical run before the COVID-19 lockdown shut down theatres. The film is currently streaming on Amazon Prime and has garnered a good following. Arvind’s third film is titled, DASARA, and it is currently in post-production.

Arvind has completed shooting his fourth film (title not announced yet) in June 2022.

In October 2022, he completed shooting a web series titled, PRIMETIME WITH THE MURTHYS; produced by Estrella Stories for Viacom18-MTV India.

Arvind heads the production house Boiled Beans Pictures and has served as an Assistant Professor (Film Direction Department) at LV Prasad College of Media Studies, Bengaluru. He has also served as a Visiting Faculty for film students at St. Joseph’s College, Bengaluru, and Tent Cinema, Bengaluru. He was a Jury Member for the Asian Cinema Competition category of the 13th Bengaluru International Film Festival.

Abhaya Simha is a two-time National Award-winning filmmaker. An alumnus of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). In his career spanning over 15 years, he has directed four feature films and over 300 video films. His films are screened in various International Film Festivals. His debut venture ‘Gubbachchigalu’ won National Award for the best children’s film for the year 2008. His second venture was a bilingual ‘Shikari’ that was released across Karnataka and Kerala. His third film ‘Sakkare’ in Kannada was released across Karnataka and his ‘Paddayi’ in Tulu won the 65th National award for Best Feature Film in Tulu.

Abhaya Simha is a visiting faculty in prestigious institutions and he conducts workshops on various subjects like writing, direction, editing, and so on.

After attaining a diploma in cinematography, Abhishek Kasargod went on to assist various cinematographers assisting on movies such as ‘Super’, ‘Porki’, ‘Jungli’, and ‘Simple Agi Ondh Love Story’. Abhishek made his debut as an independent cinematographer with comedy-thriller ‘Operation Alamelamma’. His other projects include the Kannada movies ‘Kinare’, ‘Ananthu v/s Nusrath’, ‘Krishna Talkies, and a horror-thriller movie directed by Vijayanandha.

Bharath Parashuram is a cinematographer based in Bengaluru, India, and works in feature films, advertising films, music videos, and web series. His music video piece ‘This is Bengaluru’ for ‘Explosions in The Sky’ topped several best-of-the-year lists in 2015. He started his career in film through the lenses of still photography cameras. His goal is to make his next project look as unique as possible. In his spare time, he takes photos on 120mm film.

C. K. Muraleedharan is one of the most accomplished cinematographers in India. He graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India Pune and his major works are in Hindi cinema, Telugu cinema, and Malayalam cinema. Having worked in several short movies, Muraleedharan made his debut on the silver screen with the Bollywood film ‘Ek Hasina Thi’ in 2004. He subsequently went on to work in many popular films like ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’, ‘3 Idiots’, ‘Agent Vinod’, ‘PK’, and ‘Mohenjo Daro’. After a successful stint in Bollywood, he made his debut in a South Indian film ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ a Telugu action drama. His latest release includes ‘Panipat’.

C. K. Muraleedharan has conducted a research project on the History and Practice of Cinematography in India, along with Raqs Media Collective for India Foundation for the Arts.

Piyush Shah graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune in 1985 specializing in Motion Picture Photography. He has worked as a cinematographer with several prominent directors with diverse attitudes to filmmaking. Moving through the theoretically rigorous approach to visuals of Mani Kaul to the kinetic style of Ram Gopal Varma, he is one of the most important cinematographers of Indian cinema. Kiran Deohans graduated as a cinematographer from the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. He won the Filmfare Award for his first film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak after which he got many offers from big productions, but Kiran Deohans chose to concentrate on shooting and directing advertising films. He has shot more than 800 ad films and won many awards for his cinematography. Rakesh Mehra then asked Kiran to work on ‘Aks the Reflection’ for which he received nominations from both Filmfare and Screen. Kiran continued to shoot feature films together with his work in ad films and shot ‘Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham’ which won him the Sansui Award for Best Cinematography; ‘Jodhaa Akbar’, ‘Manikarnika’, ‘Sarabjit’, ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’, ‘Agneepath’, ‘Khele Hum Jee Jaan Se’ and many more. Kiran has also produced several Short Films which have won Awards at various International Festivals.
