Mr.GMK Rajhamohan is our HOD, Associate professor for BFA (Film making), and PROGRAM HEAD for certification programs in our Chennai campus. He has a balanced experience in the Film Industry as well as the pedagogy of Cinema.

Rajhamohan is a film graduate from FTIT, has a Masters in mass communication and journalism as well as qualified UGC NET exam.

He has worked in many movies as an assistant and associate cinematographer including “Dhill”,” Dhool”,”Yei nee romba azhaga irukkey”, “Autograph”. He has done many corporate projects, ad films, and documentaries including Ford Endeavor AV, and Casagrande – Builder’s projects working with production houses like “Couple of Dots”. He was a freelance cinematographer in New Delhi for a few years, earning wide experience in multi-camera projects and also as a focus-puller. He is versatile and talented with many still photography projects in his portfolio. Including beautiful table tops as well as many profile shots of musicians.

He went on to teach a wide range of courses in Cinema and television for the past 15 years. Cinematography, Photography, film direction, visual communication, and video production are the courses he taught. He has delivered guest lectures for many colleges and institutions with a special interest in screenplay writing. His favorite subject is Film language.
