DIRECTOR OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT & EVALUATION

PRACHEE MUKHERJEE
DIRECTOR OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT & EVALUATION
An alumni of Syracuse University, New York (USA), Prachee has extensive experience in educational evaluation and assessment, as well as professional development, with a focus on improving pedagogy by using data about student experiences. Her work experience started with teaching in India, and after completing graduate studies in the USA, she worked in leadership positions in Colorado and Minnesota. As an evaluator, she has served on the MN State Arts Board’s annual grant-giving deliberation and recommendation processes. As a board member of Ananya Dance, she collaborated in strategic planning and implementation for the organization. Prachee is trained in numerous strategic planning and leadership building processes, from Baldrige to Covey’s Seven Habits to Courageous Conversations and The Art of Mindful Inquiry. She has facilitated and trained educators and administrators for a variety of purposes, from assessment and data literacy to impactful leadership. In the last few years, her focus has sharpened to naming and addressing structural inequities – from gaps in opportunity, access, and cultural capital to support – helping educators to perceive them and be moved into personal action in their sphere of professional practice to bring about changes.
