S. Ka. Boopathy is a distinguished Indian cinematographer with over three decades of experience, predominantly in the Telugu and Tamil film industries. A graduate of the prestigious M.G.R. Government Film & Television Institute, Boopathy honed his craft and quickly became one of the most sought-after professionals in his field.

Over the course of his illustrious career, Boopathy has collaborated with some of Indian cinema’s most acclaimed directors, including Mr. Krishna Vamsi, Mr. K. Raghavendra Rao, Mr. Suresh Krishna, Mr. Ram Gopal Varma, and Mr. Boyapati Srinu. His impressive body of  work spans multiple genres, showcasing his adaptability and mastery of the visual storytelling medium.

Boopathy’s expertise extends beyond technical prowess—he’s worked alongside a roster of high-profile actors such as Mr. Vijayakanth, Mr. R. Sarathkumar, Mr. Jagapathi Babu, Mr. Naga Chaitanya, Mr. Venkatesh, Mr. Anil Kapoor, Mr. Govinda, Mr. Balakrishna, Mr. Kalyan Ram, Mr. Ravi Teja, Mr. Prakash Raj, Mr. Nithin, and Mr. Arjun, contributing significantly to the success of numerous films. His ability to capture compelling visuals while enhancing the narrative has made him a key figure in the success of many iconic productions.

Boopathy has completed advanced online certification training for a range of cutting-edge camera systems, including Alexa LF, Alexa MINI LF, Alexa SXT, and Signature Prime Lenses. In addition to this, he has completed the prestigious ARRI Masterclass, further solidifying his expertise in the latest cinematography technologies and techniques.

Sindhooram (1997) – Ravi Teja’s debut film, which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu.

Anthahpuram (1998) – Featuring Prakash Raj, this film won the National Film Award – Special Jury Award.

Narasimha, Thavasi (2001) – Featuring Vijayakanth.

Kabadi Kabadi (2001) Directed by Venky.

Khadgam (2002) – Directed by Krishna Vamsi.

Subash Chandra Bose (2005) – A Telugu film directed by K. Raghavendra Rao.

Allari Bullodu (2005) – Directed by K. Raghavendra Rao, starring Nithin, Trisha, and Rathi.

Asadhyudu (2006) – A Telugu film Starring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram.
