ONE YEAR DIPLOMA IN SCREEN ACTING

The one-year Screen Acting diploma at LVPCMS focuses on acting for the screen in front of the camera. In addition to coursework in acting techniques, students learn film language and film history to enhance their understanding of acting for the screen. Students work on actual film projects with student directors and crews.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

o    Understand and practice the differences between stage and screen acting
o    Demonstrate practical knowledge of ‘script to character’ techniques
o    Describe the nuances of physical, emotional and intellectual elements necessary for the screen
o    Demonstrate an understanding of film language
o    Perform according to director’s guidance
o    Deliver credible cinematic performances
o    Demonstrate casting and audition etiquette

  • 2 projects (including the diploma) in Sem II

Eligibility

Minimum Eligibility Criteria

Pass in Plus two school examination or equivalent

Proficiency in English is a prerequisite for success in the selected program or course.
