DIPLOMA PROGRAM

Diploma in Digital Film Making – 1 Year Diploma

The one-year Digital Filmmaking Program gives students the all-around filmmaking experience
necessary to make their own films. Divided into two semesters with one to two weeks of vacation,
depending on the start date, students receive over 600 hours of hands-on instruction and actual production
experience. The curriculum integrates intensive study in all the major filmmaking disciplines including
screenwriting, directing, cinematography, audiography and editing. In the 2nd semester, students can choose
to specialize in one of the aspects of filmmaking.

CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS

• Film Direction Preparation and Practice -15 Weekend Program

This is a 120 Hrs (30 hrs – Online, 90 hrs – Campus and Project) program. Anyone with an interest
in filmmaking is eligible for this course. The course will provide you an opportunity to explore the
nuances of Film Direction.

• Editing – 12 Weekends

The course is aimed at aspiring Film Editors. No specific educational qualification is required.
Knowledge in English and Malayalam language is desirable.

• Digital Cinematography – 6 Weekends

The course will provide training on cameras, lenses, lighting, program production and colour
correction. The main thrust of the course will be hands-on training.
