Angel Philomena is native of Chennai. A post graduate in Public Administration, she graduated from the Film and Television Institute Of Tamil Nadu. Angel has worked in various capacities with numerous professionals in the industry, such as Suhasini, Mani Ratnam, and Revathy. She worked as assistant director to P. C. Sreeram for the film “Vaanam Vasapadum”. Angel also has Post Production Director experience, working on a tele-series for Madras Talkies, as well as direction experience from a few television episodes, documentaries and educational films. She has been a guest lecturer at various institutions. Currently, she is Head of the South Indian Film Women’s Association based in Chennai. In 2018, Angel joined as direction department faculty at LVPCMS Chennai.
