With his 30 years of experience, Niranjan has acquired insights & knowledge in all creative & technical aspects of film making which he loves to share with his students. He has as Writer & Concept Developer – Scripted Films, Telefilms & TV Serials; Producer & Director – Made Films, Documentaries, Multicam TV Shows, Telefilms & TV Serials; Director of Photography & Cinematographer – Photographed Feature Films, Documentaries, Multicam TV Shows, Telefilms.

Graduating from India’s premier film school – FTII Pune, Niranjan won a National Award for his Diploma Film and his films have won awards & accolades at various International Film Festivals like MAMI, IFFI–Indian Panorama, Jaipur International Film Festival, Jagran Film Festival India, South Asian Film Festival Canada, Woodstock Film Festival New York, Indian Film Festival Melbourne, South Asian Film Festival Washington DC, Indian Film Festival Japan. He has also been a Selection Committee Member & Jury Member for Jaipur International Film Festival since 2015.

Some of the projects he has accomplished are – as Producer, Director & DoP – Feature Film ‘Saptapadii’, Docu-Feature ‘Sahakar’ (16mm/Colour), Star Bestsellers, Musical Show ‘Geet Gaataa Chul’, TV Series ‘Yeh Dil Chahe More’ & Quiz Show ‘Bombay Lajawab’

As Concept Developer & Writer – Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin, Yeh Dil Chahe More, Shakalaka Boom Boom, Kaajjal, Karma, Jabb Love Hua, Meri Aawaaz Ko Mil Gayi Roshni, Ghost Bana Dost, Pari Hoon Main and Harphool Mohini (2022).

Niranjan has steered and helped establish MIT School of Film & Television Pune, a constituent of MIT Art, Design & Technology University as Head of Operations – Administration & Academics. He has also been conducting workshops as Visiting Faculty at ‘Whistling Woods International’ a film school in Mumbai. Niranjan enjoys sharing his experiences and understanding of Films, Television, OTT & related media with his students and has been doing it since 2008.
