Vinod Raja graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India with a specialization in Cinematography in 1985. He has worked as a Cinematographer for many documentaries for International television channels. As part of Grass Roots Media, a film collective, Vinod has been making short documentaries on livelihood, environment, appropriate technologies, renewable clean and safe energy resources for various organisations. Some of his well-known films are ‘Toli Chinuka’ (1990), ‘The Bee, The Bear and the Kuruba’ (2001) and ‘Mahua Memoirs’ (2007).
