Course Description:

How to Make a Cinematic Video?

The workshop will be a lecture demonstration on the use of Lenses, Aperture & ISO, Framing & Composition & Available Light.

Participants should carry video cameras if they have one.


Mr. Niranjan Thade,  has 30 years of Experience as a Writer, Director, Producer,
Cinematographer of Feature Films, TV Serials, Reality Shows & Short Films. National Award Winner.

After graduating from India’s premier film school – FTII, Niranjan won a National Award for his Diploma Film (Chakkar Chanduka Chameliwala) leading him to explore different aspects of filmmaking. Since then, Niranjan has extensively worked as a Producer & Director, Director of Photography, and Concept Developer & Writer for Films, Documentaries, Multicam TV Shows, Telefilms & TV Serials. His films have won awards & accolades at various International Film Festivals. He also has been a Selection Committee Member & Head of the Jury. Passionate about films & related media as an audio-visual language, Before joining LVPCMS Niranjan was Head of Operations – Admin & Academics at MIT School of Film & Television, a constituent of MIT Art, Design & Technology University. He has also been conducting workshops as Visiting Faculty at film schools across India. Niranjan enjoys sharing his experiences and understanding of Films, Television, OTT & related media with his students and has been doing it since 2008.
